Prithviraj will play a prominent role in the film Oruvan featuring his brother Indrajeet in the lead. He will play the role of a police officer who has a great interest in Poram festivals.

This role was earmarked earlier for Kalabhavan Mani, but due to his hectic schedules was not able to be in the film. This will be the second film in a row for this brothers to appear in a single film, in recent times.

Their recent come together in Classmates has become a great success and the brothers show a special chemistry in the scenes they act together.

Oruvan, written by Reji Nair will be the first venture of Vinoo Anand, who had been in the circuit for long. The film also features Meera Vasudev, Lal, Raajan P.Dev, Maala Aravindhan, and Salim Kumar. The shooting of the film is into its final session at Malampuzha.
