Jayaram starrer Ente Veedu Appoontem directed by Sibi Malayil won many awards at the regional and national level. The movie will be featured in the 'Film Festival of India' in Shanghai and Beijing organized to commemorate the India China friendship year.

The festival organized by the Indian embassy along with China's media watchdog will also feature Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Dil Chaahta Hai, Roja, Juye Poora Xoon, Shwaas, Dweepa, Show and Choker Bali.

The movie won the national award for best child artiste to Jayaram's son and was also remade in Tamil starring Parthiban and Kaveri in the lead roles.
