Director Major Ravi has made his mark with Keerthi Chakra. His debut directorial venture starring Mohanlal, Lakshmi Gopalswamy and Gopika has gone to trash all box-office records in Kerala.

The movie on a group of commandos fighting terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir has won rave reviews.

Now the latest buzz is that Major Ravi has now planned to do his next with Mammootty.

The Major Ravi and Mammootty venture will kick off this December and plans are on to release the movie for Vishu, 2007.

Major Ravi, a one-time army officer, has reportedly chosen an army story for his next venture which would star Mammootty.
