Vikram's Bheema, being directed by Lingusamy for A M Rathnam will not hit the screens on Deepavali as was expected.

Buzz is that the producer is planning for a release mid-December.

When Bheema went to floors, it was said that the movie would be a Deepavali treat for Vikram fans. However sources say the shooting would be completed only by mid-October followed by post-production works. It would mean Bheema would not hit the screens on Deepavali.

On his part, Vikram, said, 'The movie is shaping up well and my role has come good'.

Bheema also features Trisha and Prakash Raj in important roles. Lingusamy has been giving his best to come up with an engrossing fare and a major portion of the movie has been completed and the whole crew is happy at the way the scenes have been shot.
