Bharath's Emttan Magan will hit the screens on 7 September. The movie produced by Sathyajothy Thyagarajan marks the directorial venture of Thirumurugan, who shot to fame with his mega-serial Metti Oli.

Speaking about the movie, Thirumurugan says, 'It is all about the sequence of events that occur between a strict father and a callous son. It is the narration of events that would occur in every household. A family entertainer indeed'.

Nasser plays a strict father while Bharath plays his son. Also in the cast includes Gopika. The film has six songs tuned by Vidyasagar. The audio of the movie would be released at a grand function to be held in Chennai this weekend.

Nasser is thrilled to play a strict father in the movie. It's very rare to get meaty roles these days. I was amazed when the story was narrated to me and immediately decided to do the project, he says.

After doing lover boy and action roles, this family character is a different one for Bharath.
