When NVNV happened, Siddharth was just a wannabe actor.

But the success of that film, followed by the nationwide acclaim for his performance in Rang De Basanti has put lot of agreeable pressure on the young hero.

Now when his Bommarillu is set for release, the smart and handsome lad seems ready to live up to his newfound reputation.

It is a confidence born out of his conviction in the film’s story and script and his own ability to do justice to the character he is doing.

Siddharth’s strength lies in his ability to give a ’believability’ to the characters he is doing.

It was certainly the case in all the movies he has done so far --- though he has been cast as an urban youth in all his movies.

Siddharth has certainly enjoyed his work with Dil Raju and Bhaskar in Bommarillu. A fact that came out wonderfully well in the audiocassette release function.

The fun and bonhomie overflowing at the event a few days back confirm that we are also in for some goody enjoyment.

Siddharth stole the show on that night with his straight-from-the-heart speech and a spirited rendering of the song that he has sung in the film.

Bommarillu, a cute love story, stars Genelia as the heroine.

The movie is set for release next month.
