The dubbing spirit hardly seems to wane. Starting perhaps with Chandramukhi last year, it has been a run of never-ending dubbed films primarily from Tamil and to a certain extent Kannada.

Going by simple statistics, almost every second movie released in Tamil Nadu comes to Andhra with lip-synced voices and language.

And some of them manage to be successful too. The last dubbed film to be a hit was Pandem Kodi.

Now the popular hero Ajith has his Tamil film being released in Telugu as a dubbed one.

His film Paramasivam is set for release in Telugu.

Of course, with Laila as heroine and Prakash Raj and Jayram as investigating officers, the Telugu audience will have known faces.

Vidyasagar has scored the music. He is also very familiar with the Andhra audience.

P Vasu, who is now directing Balakrishna, has directed Paramasivam.

Kandepi Satyanarayana is producing the film under Raghavendra Cine Chitra banners.
