After establishing himself in Kollywood, actor Jeeva, son of producer R B Choudhry is all set to test waters in Kerala. His Keerthi Chakra along side Mohanlal getting ready for release this month.

Jeeva plays a havaldar, who is close to Major Mahadevan, Mohanlal's character in the film.

Says Jeeva, 'We shot in Kashmir for more than 20 days. It was quite an experience in that hyper sensitive area. There were restrictions at times on account of security reasons.'

Jeeva believes that the film will help him impress viewers in Kerala. 'In fact, I was surprised when I was recognized by many while we were shooting for 'Keerthi Chakra' in Ottappalam,' he says with a smile.

His forthcoming films in Tamil includes E. Nayanatra plays his heroine in it. Pori will feature Pooja as his heroine.
