Dileep is holidaying for a week in New York, after completing two of his films -- 'Chess' and 'The Speed Track'. He will also attend a World Malayalee Conference at New york, where he will be felicitated as the prime guest. Dileep will be back to the state on Friday, as his new release 'Chess' will grace the theatres on the same day.

Dileep is a little disheartened as he could not release his new flick 'Chess' on July 4 -- his lucky day, following the censor board decision to grant the film an UA certificate for its revenge theme. The film is a suspense, thriller - a sort of revenge movie where the lead character goes on to kill 4 villains in a row. The film casts Bhavana and Ashish Vidyarthy in prominent roles.

The posters and the pre publicity has done good mileage and has raised expectations on the film. Dileep is said to have attempting to change his boy next door image and is trying to place himself in more mature roles. And that is the reason why he is on for a revenge film like this.
