Director Vikraman is known for his stereotype family tearjerkers. But in his forthcoming film Chennai Kadhal, he has reportedly changed from his routine style and tried to make a commercial entertainer.

The movie being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu features Bharath and Genelia in the lead roles.

The director who has returned from abroad after shooting a major sequence for the movie says, 'Till now I have been making family stories. There will be love element in the films, but they were not love stories. For the first time, I'm making a romantic film'.

He further adds that the movie would suit the youth audience. 'Unlike my earlier films which were targeted at the womenfolk, Chennai Kadhal will woo youngsters', he adds.

The director also has offers coming his way in Tollywood. It is for him to decide where he wants to continue.
