Director Bala's Naan Kadavul, which will hit the floors on August will cast Bhavana opposite Arya besides introducing popular Kannada actor Devaraj on Tamil screen.

Says Bala, 'Devaraj is an actor known to perform with conviction character roles in Kannada movies. In Naan Kadavul, he will don a pivotal role'.

Talking more on the film, he said, 'The movie to be produced by P L Thenappan will dwell on the concept that every man is a God by himself. The movie happens in Palani and Kasi. Ilayaraja would score the music in the film'.

Noted Tamil writer Jayamohan has penned the dialogues, while Krishnamoorthy handles art.

The movie would be released this Pongal.

Bala, says, 'I took a long gap after Pithamagan for I was searching for a good storyline. Thankfully Naan Kadavul has happened'.

On Ajith being replaced by Arya, Bala, said, 'It is unfair on my part to disclose what transpired between me and Ajith. We both mutually agreed to have him move out of the project.'
