Jayaram was having a very dismal period in the filmdom, for the last two years. Many of his films couldn't even fetch a decent initial in the box office during this period.

But, this Vishu is proving to be a period of change of fate for him. Madhuchandralekha the vishu release on which he associated with his favorite director Rajasenan after a gap of few years, is doing better business in the box office.

Also Jayaram is having a few promising projects for the future. Immediately, Jayaram will be acting in another film with Rajasenan.

The Onam project of Jayaram will be with Johny Antony, the super hit director of Thuruppu Ghulan. Jayaram will also be acting in the lead in the next film directed by Sangeeth Sivan. The next release of Jayaram to hit theatres next month will be a psycho thriller directed by Deepu Karnunakaran.
