Director R Parthiban is busy giving final touches to his home production Pachchakkuthirra to have the movie released this Tamil New Year's Day.

Dispelling rumors that Pachchakkuthirra would be another Ulle Veliye, Parthiban says, the movie would have glamour and not vulgarity.

The movies features Namitha opposite Parthiban, who has written the story, screenplay and dialogues besides wielding the megaphone.

'I've written songs set to tunes by Sabesh Murali', he adds.

Namitha is all thrilled to be part of the movie for she is keen to shed her glamour tag.

'I've only been a glamour doll and this film has given me an opportunity to act too. I'm extremely happy,' says Namitha.

Parthiban says Namitha has a Smitha Patil kind of role in the movie. 'Glamour as well as performance is the underlying idea,' he adds.
