It is a casting coup in Dileep's Pachakuthira.

Fazil plays a director's role in Pachakuthira, which is being directed by Kamal.

Fazil is well known for his vibrant acting abilities that he exhibited while demonstrating the scenes for the actors in his films.

Fazil had acted before in Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu.

Fazil was supposed to act in Harikrishnans but Rajeev Menon played the role.

The story of Pachakuthira concentrates around the film industry. Other popular directors of Malayalam cinema like Jayaraj, Viji Thampy and Roshan Andrews also appear in the movie.
