Meera Vasudevan, who shot to fame in Malluwood with her debut venture 'Tanmatra', has signed a new movie in Malayalam.

Kalabhavan Mani is playing the hero in the movie. Meera Vasudevan has donned the role of his wife in this untitled movie.

The actress who would be changing her name to Meera Vishal (Vishal is her husband and son of noted cinematographer Ashok Kumar).

On continuing to play the heroine even after her marriage, Meera says, 'in Hollywood even after marriage, actresses continue to play the heroines. Only in our country, they become unwanted after marriage'.
