Thulasidas, one of the popular mainstream director who created hits like mimics parade and Kasargod Kadarbhai is back after a silence of three years. Last weeek he has completed the second schedule of new prithviraj starrer Avan Chandiyude Makan.

Prithviraj is playing the role of kurian, son of Thattekadu Chandi ,tha title role played by Vijayaraghavan. The film narrates the story of a christian family of central travancore headed by an adamant, unsocial father and his tug of war with the new generation in his family.

"It has taken two years for me to be in the making of another movie even after a suprerhit like Mr. Brahmachari with Mohanlal. Many of my projects didn't worked out during these time. Producers are not interested in making movies with stars who don't offer any initial pull" says Thulasidas - once a crowdpuller with his low budget comedies.
