Sivaji has proved his mettle as an actor of serious roles. He has also tried his hand at fun.

But in his new movie Seetharamudu, he is moving to other things.

For instance, some action and ruggedness.

Shyam Prasad directs Seetharamudu for Sri Sambasiva Creations.

Starring Ankita as the heroine, the film is at one level, a candy floss love story. At another, it has action.

Sivaji, with straggly beard and tough looks, plays the part of a hardened youth.

It is a love story all right. But he (Sivaji) will be doing some action sequences as well, says the director.

Shyam Prasad made us sit and take notice with Mounamelanoyi. He says he enjoys making romantic flicks.

Sivaji, too, seems to be enoying the role. Currently shooting in Vizag, he has a challenging role to perform in the movie.

For Ankita, this is a good opportunity to make it big.

Ramana Gogula, after the success of Lakshmi, has provided some interesting tunes for the movie.

But all eyes are on Sivaji in his new try.
