Noted director Rajeevnath, who had directed award winning movies like Motcham, Janani and Thannal, will be wielding the megaphone for a English movie to be made on Mother Teresa at a cost of over several crores.

The buzz is that acclaimed actors like Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal and Mithun Chakraborthy would be playing important roles in the movie.

Speaking about the movie, Rajeevnath says, 'all efforts are on to begin a movie on Mother Teresa. In this regard I would be visiting USA early next month. A few individuals from America have expressed their desire to come forward and produce the film. It would be shot in Kolkata, where Mother Teresa began her charitable work.'

On the cast, Rajeevnath said, 'noted American actress Paris Hilton would play the title role, while the likes of Mohanlal, Kamal Haasan and Mithun Chakraborthy are tipped to play important characters'

Story and screenplay are by John Paul and Pandit Ravi Shankar would score music. Santosh Sivan would handle the cinematography. Former West Bengal Chief Minister Jyothi Basu will make a special appearance in the film.
