Is Simran really back? Is there any truth to the rumors floating around?

Well, checkout with her itself. ‘I have been listening to various scripts, but nothing has impressed me so far,’ says Simran, when asked about news that she would be staging a comeback in Kollywood soon.

Happy to see that Tamil filmdom has gone ahead to do films in a stylish manner with technical advancements in the last couple of years, Simran says and adds, 'the hard work of director Murugadoss in Ghajini did impress me'.

Simran was in Chennai to perform at a charity show Netru Indru Naalai.

Asked whether there are regrets at missing the opportunity to act in Chandramukhi, Simran says, 'certainly not. I had a new entrant in my family in the form of my child during that period. More over, Jyothika played the role with grace and charm, which deserves appreciation'.
