The Tiger has been tamed, will The Lion at least roar at the box-office is the million dollar question that haunts Malluwood now.

Suresh Gopi's much hyped The Tiger released at the end of last year put up a bad show. Now close on the heels is getting released The Lion starring Dileep and directed by Joshi.

With his last venture Chandupottu collecting huge revenue, expectations are high on Dileep's next. Interestingly he comes together with Kavya Madhavan for The Lion. They have earlier combined together to render several hits.

According to the producers it is so far so good. The movie has really come out well and a song sequence was shot in New Zealand recently which is sure to attract fans.

The movie's release has been delayed by a week now. The delay in release is actually going to work in the film's favor because it will help avoid competition from the Tamil films that were released on Pongal, earlier this week.

Dileep plays a student politician in the movie.

With all Christmas films becoming a washout, Malluwood badly needs a hit and let's hope The Lion goes on to make it big.
