Prakash Raj will be a happy man this Pongal.

Of the four films releasing on the festive day of this weekend, Prakash Raj has played prominent roles in three films.

He has donned important roles in Vijay's Aathi, Ajith starrer Paramasivan and Silambarasan's Saravana.

It may be recalled that last year he emerged as the actor to have essayed important roles in maximum number of movies.

It is said that in all the three movies, Prakash Raj's role would come in for appreciation. 2006 seems to have begun in a bright way for the actor-cum-producer.

His home production Poi being directed by his mentor K Balachander is gearing up for release while he has been assigned to act in more than a dozen films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi movies.
