Amidst Malluwood girls, Padmapriya has succeeded in establishing her presence in Kollywood with just a single hit.

Her Tamil venture Thavamai Thavamirundu opposite Cheran has been doing good and she has been getting rave reviews for her performance.

Padmapriya did manage the different stages of her role: college girl, married life and motherhood with poise and elegance.

She is six movies old and has acted with both the superstars of Malayalam, Mammooty and Mohanlal.

A native of Tamilnadu, Padmapriya says, 'when you act in your mother tongue, it makes a lot of difference. You are comfortable with the dialogue delivery and can improvise a lot', says the actress. My wedding with Cheran in the movie was the scene which moved me a lot.’

Now the time to prove herself in Malayalam is nigh. She is hoping that her movie with Mammooty will catapult her to the big league.
