Jayaram’s career in Malayalam is struck in a logjam of sorts.

Almost all his recent releases have bitten the dust. Even his long-delayed Sarkar Dada has come a cropper at the box office. The film was released this Ramazan.

Jayaram is an uncomplicated man. He knows to adjust and adapt. Jayaram now seems very keen on re-opening his frontiers in Tamil.

Remember, he is a well-known actor in Tamil, too. He has done films with Kamal, Sarath and other stars in Tamil. In fact, he is a hero in his own right there.

Now, he may do a full-fledged comedian’s role.

He is playing a funny character in a film named Paramasivan. The film stars Ajith and is directed by P Vasu who last directed Chandramukhi.

Jayaram, it seems, is industrious and smart. He is using the opportunities that are coming his way.
