After a dismal show in Pudukottailirundhu Saravanan, director S S Stanley is keen to set the record straight and salvage his pride in Tamil film industry.

Desperately in need of a hit, Stanley is currently is shooting for his Mercury Pookal in Madurai.

The movie features Srikanth, his lucky mascot in April Madathil, and Meera Jasmine.

Stanley says, 'The movie is a touchy tale of a youth who wants one thing in life and ends up otherwise in his life'.

Srikanth and Meera jasmine come together after Jhoot for the movie.

On the movie, Srikanth says, 'The story was not made for me. One day, I listened to the story and so impressed with it, I decided to act in it.Thankfully, a talented actress like Meera Jasmine is cast opposite me.'

Stanley says Srikanth fits the role to a T.
