Cinematographer turned director cum actor Thangar Bachchan is a much-relieved man as his Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy has a decent run. The film, if you remember, had witnessed lead to much upheavals prior to its release.

However, with the movie leaving a mark with audience, Thangar seems to have regained all confidence and is all set to commence his next project.

Interestingly, Thangar has decided to restrict himself to the role of a director and actor in the movie while a debutant producer will be making this film.

Having learnt a few lessons the hard way in Kollywood, Thangar has aptly titled the movie Pallikoodam.

Sources close to Thangar said, 'the movie is neither a remake nor inspired by any other novel. It is a Thangar's story. Once the script is ready, Pallikoodam will go to floors', they say.

Happy lessons, Thangar.
