It seems Mahesh Babu is keen to make up for the lost time in the last year or so. He had lease after a long, long time with Athadu.

Now, as if with a vengeance, he is getting himself ready for two films almost simultaneously.

The first will obviously be the one for Puri Jagannadh, who will produce and direct it. Mahesh's sister Manjula will present it. This film will go on to the floors on October 1st.

And then there is the film that Mahesh is to do with Gunasekhar. This will start on October 12th under Vyjayanthi banner.

Now, this may be puzzling for many as to why the Prince has to ride twin horses. Well, this has happened more due to some complex dealings in the industry.

Gunasekhar and Mahesh's relationship goes pretty deep, and since the former's film with NTR seems to be a non-starter, Mahesh has stepped into fill the breach. This is Mahesh's way of helping a man who has given his biggest hit till date.

The unexpected off-shoot of all this may be that Vikram's Telugu film that he had planned to do with Gunasekhar may be delayed.

Of course, the film was to start only next year. So if Guna pulls his Mahesh film through fast, he may still do Vikram's direct Telugu movie.

Anyway, it is nice to see Mahesh at full tilt again.
