Dileep opened up about Manju Warrier and Kavya Madhavan in a recent interview to a leading magazine. Dileep says that Manju was his lucky charm. Ever since she left his life, his life has been in doldrums. He recalls that when Manju was with him, his personal and professional life was more stable. He had the most success and turning points with her in his life, says Dileep.

The actor adds that for the past 2 and a half years, he had more flops than ever before in his career. He also emphatically says that Kavya Madhavan is not the reason for their marital issues, adding that if that was the case, they could easily have talked and sorted it out, since Manju was his best best. He says that Kavya is just a friend of his and that he feels quite sorry for what she has to go through in his name. Dileep also said that he was happy for Manju and the way her career is shaping up.
