Gopi Sunder's music for '1983' wins National Award

As the 62nd National Awards have been declared, Malayalees do have a few reasons to cheer, in spite of the just the trickle who have made it. Ace music director Gopi Sunder has won the national award in the Best Music Direction Background Score category, for the movie '1983'.

By now, various departments of the movie directed by Abrid Shine has won a lot many accolades. The best Malayalm movie award went to Siddartha Siva for 'Ain'. Another Malayalam movie to win an award was 'Ottaal', in the Best Film on Environmental Conservation/ Preservation category.
