Mammootty's next is an adaptation of 'Khazhakinte Ithihasam'?

Director Lijo Jose has wrapped up his movie 'Double Barrel' which has a star cast including Prithviraj, Indrajith, Arya, Sunny Wayne, Asif Ali among others.

It is rumoured that Lijo's next is an adaptation of O.V. Vijayan's cult movie 'Khazhakinte Ithihasam'.

It is also heard that Mammootty will play the lead in the movie. However, an official confirmation regarding this is yet to happen. Movies adapted from books are not new in Mollywood. If the reports are correct, we could have one more exceptional project in the offing.
