As the lineup of Christmas releases are becoming clearer, Mollywood is now moving for a direct fight between two big films -Cousins and 'Aamayum Muyalum'. As both the movies are releasing on the same date,both may find success due to the extended weekend that follows.

Cousins- the big budget entertainer from Vysakh, the director of mass movies is a total colourful entertainer . The trailer of the movie and the big budget song released on net which is already seen by around three lakhs viewers also reiterate the fact that the film is the most eagerly awaited one , this season. Featuring Indrajith, kunchakko Boban , Suraj, joju, Vedhika, Nisha Agarwal and Miya, the movie is a comedy riot with its share of thrilling elements. Meanwhile, Priyadarshan's 'Aamayum Muyalum ' is loosely based on one of his Hindi films which has done good business. Set in a village backdrop, the initial trailers has already given it the colour and expectations of a film like 'Thenmavin Komabathu'. The songs of the movie are out with good reviews. Jayasuriya and Piya Bajpei don the lead roles in the movie which also feature all the Priyadarshan regulars.

The third movie for the season will be Sreenviasan-Sangeetha starer 'Nagaravaridhy Naduvil Njaan- a satire written by Sreenivasan and directed by debutante Shibu balan. A family entertainer to the core, let's see whether the low budget movie can emerge a dark horse from the rest in competition.
