It is confirmed. The promo of Varun Dhawan's Badlapur is being attached to Ajay Devgn's Action Jackson. For Vicky Donor girl Yami Gautam, it would be double the celebrations as she features in both the films. Though Yami only has a special appearance in Badlapur, this is still a big release for her.

"Action Jackson is the biggest film before year end other than Aamir Khan's P.K. Many films wish to get their promo attached to the Prabhu Dheva directed film, considering it has a mass appeal and would be seeing the widest ever release for an Ajay Devgn starrer. However, Badlapur is the one which is 100% getting unveiled alongside Action Jackson. There couldn't have been a better stage and setting," our source informs.

While Action Jackson, as the title suggests, is an action flick, interestingly this is the first ever non-romcom affair for Varun (after Student of the Year, Main Tera Hero, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya) who gets into the dramatic-thriller space of Sriram Raghavan [Agent Vinod, Johnny Gaddar, Ek Haseena Thi].

Varun and Yami's other co-stars in the film are unique too in the form of Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vinay Pathak, who have made a name for themselves in parallel cinema.
