Anoop Menon is all set to marry and the talented actor-scenarist opened up about his prospective bride. He said that the family hails from Pathanamtitta and that they were planters. He has known them for over five years now. Anoop Menon said that Shema is a brave and bold girl. It was this quality which attracted him to her.

Anoop Menon revealed that this would be Shema's second marriage. Her husband had died in an accident. He said that Shema has suffered a lot in life and her strength and will power were admirable. Her mother was suffering from cancer and she was taking care of her for the past few years. Anoop Menon also added that there were still narrow minded people in our society who questioned why he was marrying a widow. He said that he does not feel he is doing a favour to her, but is marrying her because he loves her and Shema loves him in return.
