'Mammootty' dragged into the green controversy

Megastar Mammootty was in Thirur, Malapuram recently for the inauguration of a shopping mall. The event was witnessed by tens and thousands, who thronged to see their beloved star, with Malappuram being a place where Mamootty`s fan base is strong.
But the thing that has whipped up quite an unnecessary issue is the actor`s attire. He was wearing green pants and a white shirt with matching shoes. The green` pants invited quite a few vicious comments in the social media, pertaining to the green` controversy that marred Kerala politics. The actor`s photo in this attire is still doing the rounds in social media. Mammootty would sure be astounded at being dragged into such an unnecessary controversy where none was expected.
