One of the biggest banners of yesteryear Mollywood, Udaya Studios is all set to be back to production after a long gap of 30 years. Originally owned by late Mr Kunchacko, who was the grand father of actor Kunchacko Boban, the production house faded from lime lights in the late seventies, with their last production 'Anaswaraganangal' out in 1984.
It was actor Kunchacko Boban, who announced the news during a function held in remembrance of Boban Kunchacko. The banner will now start to produce a movie within two years and their after will continue with regular productions. The Boban Kunchacko Foundation will also conduct short film festival from the coming years.
