After a few films that has bombed at the Box Office, Mammootty is following the others in the business with an aged look. Like Lal and even the younger actor Prithviraj who is appearing with grey hair for their new films like 'Jilla', 'Mr Fraud, and Seventh day, Mammootty will don the same for the movie 'Munnariyippu' directed by cinematographer Venu.

Mammootty will appear as a prisoner who is recently left free. Aparna Gopinath is the heroine of this movie which is scripted by R Unni.Joy Mathew, Prathap Pothen, Nedumudi Venu and Sasikumar are also part of the cast of the movie.
