The Kerala floods may have ruined the morale and the public property, but instances show us that humanity is still alive. Contributions and help towards the crisis have been pouring in from national and international arenas, even from places you wouldn’t expect- like the girl in this story.

Anupriya is a cute little girl from the district of Vizhupuram. Over the past 4 years she had one thing in mind- to buy herself a bicycle and she decided save up. But when she realized the flood crisis that Kerala has been experiencing- guess what, she broke her piggy-bank savings and donated all the Rs.9000 towards the relief measures.

Now we see a noble future in a kid like her, don’t we? And the interesting point to note here is that Anupriya will be getting a brand new bicycle from Hero after the firm heard of Anupriya’s story. Well, we’re sure this is a respite from the continuous theft, crime stories that flood our days.
