Bus carrying 35 passengers, rammed in to a roadside shop


Two killed and 22 injured after a KSRTC bus rammed into a shop after knocking down a two wheeler. The accident happed on Friday evening near Perunthuruthi, midway between Changanacherry and Thiruvalla towns in Kerala.

The KSRTC bus which had 35 passengers was going from Changanassery to Thiruvalla. Reportedly, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle and knocked down a two wheeler in front and dragged it along before crashing into an optical shop. The riders of the bike were killed and a car and few two wheelers parked in front of the shop were destroyed in the accident.

The deceased have been identified as James Chacko, 30 and Ancy, 26. The duo were killed as they were returning from Ettumanoor, where Ancy had attended an interview.
