Sidharth Malhotra's war drama 'Shershah' is all set to release on 12 August on Amazon Prime Video. The film also stars actress Kiara Advani in a key role. A short teaser of the film was released a few days ago which gave a glimpse of Sidharth Malhotra as the war hero Captain Vikram Batra. Recently, the first look of Kiara Advani's character was revealed as well. She plays Dimple Cheema, Vikaram Batra's fiancee.

The newly released poster featirest both Sidharth and Kiara sitting side by side having a conversation. Their attire and the overall look captures the vibes of 90s. Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema's bond was so strong that Dimple didn't marry anyone else after Captain Batra's martyrdom and continued living as his widow.

Recalling their relationship during an interview, she shared, "“I met Vikram for the first time in 1995 in Punjab University in Chandigarh when we both had joined MA English. But as fate would have it, neither of us completed it. I guess it was destiny playing its part in bringing us together and becoming an integral part of each other."
