A week after week two Kannada films untapped properly in the box office – Case No.18/9 and Election are releasing again.

The lack of knowledge of release of the film and vacating the film when it was collecting well were reasons for ‘Case No 18/9’ to release again after two months of first release. A remake of Tamil film ‘Vazakku Enn 18/9’ of Balaji Shaktivelu film in Kannada version received good response in the media and attendance was not bad when it was unceremoniously saw exit from theatres.

A film with strong dosage to the society is coming again in over 35 theatres and producers team Praveen Kumar Shetty and others are spending Rs.20 lakhs on it hoping for success.

This is the film that received appreciations from top star Kichcha Sudeep (in fact he is the one who suggested for re=release), Santosh Lad, ACP Bhava, Vijayakumar, Chinne Gowda, Yogaraj Bhat, Ganesh, Dhruv, Shashank, Mehta, Yash, Vijay and others.

The film was made with precise approach. It was satisfying making but not satisfying releasing. We came in advance to our announcement that created confusion and we had to vacate in multiplexes recalled Kanthi Shetty.

Noted actor, studio owner and producer Kari Subbu recalled that he wanted to do the same thing for ‘Mani’ film but market did not permit him. Now the film ‘Case No.18/9’ is sold for a television channel proper permission has to be sought.

Actor Niranjan thanked media for writing good when ‘Case No 18/9’ was released in last August. From the reviews for my performance I got four offers he thanks his fortune. The film made in Kannada got wonderful TV right share is happiness for Niranjan. Abhijit debut as young college going boy was happy for good response to his acting.
