With festival around the corner there are no big releases for Friday. There are a few more films lined up for 13th of September and again they are not top star films.
Lucia, Pyar Ge Agbutaithe and Love Junction are sure of hitting the silver screen. Pyar Ge Agbutaithe got released a day in advance and on Thursday the fate of another film Umesh will also be decided. A film on the psychopath killer is facing legal battle and date has been announced as 6th September release. In case Umesh gets nod for release it will be four films.
Pyaar Ge Agbutaithe picking the line from Govindayanamaha Kannada film of Komal Kumar is like a speed post on the silver screen. A quickie compared to other films from Smt Shoba Prakash in the direction of Kavin Bala is on love and arranged marriage. The female protagonist comes to see the boy of her mother choice. There is some confusion for her in palace city Mysore. In the confusion she gets the answer in the last frame of the film. Prarthana makes her debut in the film. Dharma Teja scored music, Bala Bharani is cameraman. Akul Balaji, Honnavalli Krishna, Tennis Krishna, Satyajith and others are in the cast.
LUCIA has generated lot of hopes from its style of making. Like how the constitution says Of the people, by the people and for the people in his second film director and actor Pawan Kumar of the public money produced the film for the public by his men working for 18 months. It is a new attempt in the Indian film context. 1350 people have contributed to the production of the film. Another sundry of the week is Love Junction by Vasudev Alur for his story and screenplay. Andhan Kumar and Yagna Shetty are in lead roles. Bank Janardhan, Manadip Rai, Raj Gopal, Mysore Ramanand, Aravind - all of them comedy actors are in this film.
Ananya Bhargav has done music for the first film in Kannada. SNB Murthy is the cameraman. M Lokesh and Babu are producers of Love Junction that is releasing in Tanya Productions.
