It is a week of sexy sirens on the silver screen with an exception to ‘Case No.18/9’ Kannada film. ‘Silk’ and ‘Ashirwada’ are with ‘A’ certificates while 'Case No.18/9' is with U/A certificate films hitting the silver screen.

Among three films two are newcomer films. Silk…sakkath Hot Maga producer R Venkatappa produced ‘Ganga Cauvery’ in the past and lost. He has put in Rs.6 crores on the image of Pakistani actress Veena Mallik. It is Akshay Productions R Venkatappa producer of Rs.6 crores ‘Silk…Sakkath Hot’. Akshay is playing negative shade of Shiva in the film. Srinivasamurthy, Anitha, Achyuth Kumar, Nayana Krishna, Sadhu Kokila, Shashi and others are in the supporting cast.

Trishool who directed ‘Baaba’ is the director of the film. Jassi Gift is music composer and Jai Anand is cameraman for ‘Silk…Sakkath Hot Maga’.

Although it is a remake of Tamil film ‘Vazhakku en 18/9’ the nativity touch is given for ‘Case No.18/9’ by director Mahesh Rao. Kannada activists Pravin Kumar Shetty, VK Mohan, Shivanand Shetty and Kanthi Shetty are producers of ‘Case No.18/9’. Niranjan, Sindhu Lokanath, Shwetha Pandit, Abhisekh, Rangayana Raghu, Karthik Sharma, Girija Lokesh and others are in the cast of this film. Arjun Janya has scored music for his 25th film in Kannada. Sabha Kumar is the cameraman. Raju Belegere has penned the dialogues and Deepu S Kumar is editor of the film.

'Ashirwada' a film by Vishnu Priyan offers in the tag line for the title ‘Shuddarige Namana’(Those who are clean). He is director, story, screenplay writer and actor too in the film. Soorya Mohan is producer. V Manohar ha scored music, Naveen Suvarana is cameraman, Height Manju is choreographer, Kaurava Venkatesh is stunt director of this KR Movies. Mamatha Rawat is in an item song in this film.
