Yet another film of super star and real star Upendra is launching on Varamahalakshmi day August 16. This time Upendra and Deepa Sannidhi make lead pair. Loki who is in the camp of Upendra for a long time is directing ‘Kick’ 2009 Telugu film remake adjusting to the present scenario.

Producer K Manju is in his 35th film and after debacle of Upendra in triple role ‘God Father’ (remake of Varalaru) it is another remake for Uppi and Manju combination. Deepa Sannidhi is lucky again to get Upender as co star. Makind debut in ‘Sarathi’ Deepa Sannidhi went on to act with power star Puneeth Rajakumar in ‘Paramathma’, with Yash in ‘Jaanu’ and finished ‘Sakkare’ with golden star Ganesh. She has been very choosy in picking her roles.

With series of films like ‘Brahma’ for R Chandru, untitled film for Srinivasaraju currently shooting and now a remake film for his long time friend Loki as director it appears Upendra is not taking up direction soon. After ‘Super’ he is again leaping to acting. It is from the song line of ‘Super’ Kannada cinema of his the title ‘Superro Ranga’ was picked for the remake of ‘Kick’.

It is a comeback to Loki after ‘Thabbali’ for debutant Akash Nasir son of veteran actor Sathyajith, the highly talked about film of Loki was ‘H20’ that he directed with Rajaram in 2002 starring Upendra, Prabhudeva and Priyanka.

‘Kick’ Telugu film directed by Surender Reddy was released in May 2009. Ravi Teja, Ileana, Shaam and others starred in the film. It was made in Hindi and Tamil.

‘Superro Ranga’ is launching on August 16 on Varamahalskhmi Day. Ashok Cashyap is cameraman; Arjun Janya is the music composer for the first time to Upendra cinema.
