Two prominent personalities of Kannada cinema - actor cum politician Jaggesh of Bharathiya Janata Party and sandalwood queen of Kannada cinema Ramya of Congress took up the election campaigning for May 5th Assembly Elections in the state. Apparently both Jaggesh and Ramya are part of ‘Neer Dosai’ Kannada film that is under production. For election purpose a short break is given for the actors. Both the actors belong to opposite parties in politics. Jaggesh is MLC and Vice President of KSRTC in BJP run government while Ramya had won the Booth elections of youth Congress-I.

Jaggesh was seen with former minister and MP Ananthkumar in the release of manifesto of the BJP, actress Ramya joined the campaigning on the day the topnotch SM Krishna former minister in the union government began his campaigning in the state. Actress Ramya traveled in open jeep with Shivajinagar candidate Roshan Baig and cheered up the crowd waving hands and doing ‘Namasthe’.
