Just less than two years for the Karnataka Assembly Elections the film personalities showing their attachment to political parties in the state.

In the last few months it was first Ramya joined the Youth Congress and stood for the booth elections and won. Later Pooja Gandhi joined the Janata Dal Secular immensely liking the principles of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy and a few days ago Malavika Avinash also joined the Janata Dal Secular and that made three prominent artists in JDS – Radhika (wife of HD Kumaraswamy), Pooja Gandhi and Malavika Avinash.

The current news is that star couple of Kannada cinema Rakshita and Prem evinced interest in joining legislator Srirmaulu party. Sriramulu resigned from BJP contested recent by elections in Bellary district and won in huge margin is floating new party.

Hat trick director, actor and producer Prem currently working in Kannada film 'Prem Adda' is joining with his wife actress cum producer Sriramulu.

From the artists fraternity artists like Ambarish, Jaggesh, BC Patil, CP Yogishwar, Shruthi, Mahender and others are already in the different political parties.
