Second consecutive time Chennai Rhinos beat Karnataka Bulldozers in the close finish contest of limited over T20 tournament in Hyderabad on Sunday night. Last year the result was the same Karnataka Bulldozers returned home with runner up trophy. The finals on Sunday night played on GR Vishwanath birthday – the coach of Karnataka Bulldozers did not bring cheer to birthday boy GRV the internationally acclaimed cricketer from Karnataka.

With one ball and one run to score – the contest between Tamil actor Vikranth and Kannada and Tamil actor batsman Rahul ended in a run out of another batsman Tarun Chandra. Chennai Rhinos scored 161 runs in 20 over contest and Vikranth remained the man of the match as he scored 95 runs and responsible for fall of three wickets in the last over.

For Chennai Rhinos it was a difficult task when Jay Karthik and Dhruv Sharma carried out the proceedings with cool head and brought the score near to the win. It was captain Kichcha Sudeep who brought the win to the edge of the win to Karnataka Bulldozers but two runs from two balls was finally reduced to one run for the tie of the match. Even that also did not happen.

Tamil actor Sarathkumar and his wife Radhika were extremely happy with the very narrow win. Actress Shriya Saran and a few other supporters to Chennai Rhinos were in jubilant mood dancing and waving their hands.
