Manju M Maskalmatti (MMM) is back with a humor filled, family sentimental film after a long gap of 'Manasugala Mathu Madhura' (MMM). MMM in his name and initials has picked MMM as the title for his first title that flopped. Manju later muscle his courage and took up 'Dangura' a children film which he launched at Dr Vishnuvardhana memorial place next to Abhiman studio. The film is at the ending stage. He launched another film 'Yuva Samrat' but that has stopped shooting for egoistic nature of producers he says.

Now Manju has made the project ready and come before the media. Without doing any work completely I thought not to come before the media because of my experience says Manju. 'Gowri Puthra' revolves around three boys and five girls.

The film is on the marriage. Marriages are made in the heaven it is said. For next generation also the couples want to remain husband and wife in our society. Such a customary and sacred relationship is now affected with lot of problems says Manju.

For Gowri Puthra the top actress Nikitha Thukral has worked for eight days and she is the turning point in the life of hero Akshay (of Ganga Cauvery). Nagashekar and Rakesh have 40 minutes of presence on the screen. The other four heroines are Nivedhitha, Roopika, Manasi and Soumya Sankalpa says Murthy who has produced the film in his wife Sowmyasri name with joint producer as Rajiv H Arasu.

PL Ravi is the cameraman and Milind Dharmasena is the music composer. Milind had given lilting tunes in Bisi Bisi and Yogaraja… Bhat Kannada films.
