Director cum producer Prem has been telling the media about this title 'Adda' he is doing since eight years. He was not able to renew the title. It is producer SA Ra Govindu noticing the title going waste registered according to rules and regulations. That title ‘Adda’ is now given to producer BK Srinivas. On 12th of October 2011 Tanu Chitra transferred the title to Sri Harsha Productions that belongs to BK Srinivas. Sa Ra Govindu registered the title on 15th of December 2010. What director cum producer Prem was doing when Govindu registered the title? The monthly magazine of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce also published the registered title list.

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce in a letter on 26th of October has stated not only 'Adda' but 'Ambegalu' is also in the custody of Sri Harsha Productions for a period of one year.

Producer BK Srinivas of Mandakini, Bagirathi, Alemari on his new venture is clear in his papers for 'Adda'. Hat trick director Prem on his second film as an actor has named his film as 'Adda' - this title he has been telling for a long time. He is a good friend of BK Srinivas. Director Prem 'Jogaiah' was taken up for distribution by producer BK Srinivas.

BK Srinivas says mine is original 'Adda' with story screenplay, dialogues and direction from Santhu who is currently directing 'Alemari'. Director ‘Prem Adda’ is a remake of Tamil film 'Subramaniapuram'!

Producer BK Srinivas on hearing that director Prem is also doing a film with the same title convened a press meet on Wednesday evening to explain his stand. BK Srinivas told he has related documents for the title. I am not doing out of revenge but going according to my papers and permissions from Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.

Santhu is at the finishing stage of his script for BK Srinivas 'Adda'. After 'Alemari' he is taking up the film for direction. Krishnaprasad of Ashwini Media was present at the briefing said he has acquired audio rights of BK Srinivas film.
