Actress Ramya absence at the audio release of her film ‘Dhandam Dashagunam’ in which she plays a teacher role with Chiranjeevi Sarja has upset the producer A Ganesh.

The need of artists is very much felt these days for the publicity of the film. Actress Ramya even after getting her full remuneration of Rs.27 lakhs for the film abstained from the audio release. When called up she gave the reason that she is busy in buying furniture for her house. Producer Ganesh explaining this to media persons on Monday night said purchase of furniture is very important than attending her film audio release. I feel depressed about such attitudes he mentioned.

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce Basanthkumar Patil in his address looking at the unhappiness in the face of producer A Ganesh said it is the bounded duty of artists to take part in this type of function and get publicity for the film. At the same function at the audio release speech producer A Ganesh appreciated the cooperation extended by actress Ramya in a rainy place Chaklihole shooting schedule. But later in the party he felt unhappy for her absence.

‘Dandam Dashagunam’ is a remake of Tamil film ‘Kaakha Kaakha’.
