Nearly 1000 Kannada film personalities that went by road covering 475 kilometers had a very tough time at the Vishwa Kannada Sammelana procession in the morning and it was equally tough in the inauguration that was followed by cultural events at Belgaum.

As the government conducted Vishwa Kannada Sammelana lost control the chalked out time table had a mishap. The inauguration was one and half an hour delay and obviously Kannada filmdom program scheduled to take place at 10 pm was pushed to 12 am.

The mammoth attendance was seen in a few thousands and that has obviously irked the Kannada cinema industry. Hamsalekha had to argue with the preceding folk artists and in hapless mood instead of one hour the folk singers Janni, Picchalli Srinivas, Gollahalli Shivaprasad, Narayanaswamy, Appegere Thimmaraju walked out after two songs. From one hour their program was reduced to 20 minutes.

For a few thousands audiences and Karnataka chief minister and colleagues witnessed the cultural program ‘Nammabhimana – Chandanavana’.

Hamsalekha took the leadership and the language, power and cinema was depicted in the well drawn out program. V Ravichadnran, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Shivarajakumar, Shashikumar, Ramesh Aravind, Ganesh, Darshan, Radhika Gandhi, Ravi Chetan, Tarun Sudhir, Ajith, Anu Prabhakar, Yogish, Dharma Keerthiraj, Doddanna, Yash, Alankar, Roopika and others took part in the cultural event.

The cultural program of Kannada film went up to 2 am on Saturday.
