The long time production manager Shanthakumar has finally managed his cinema to come out from the cans. Two years of cold storage to ‘Devadas’ Kannada cinema starring Yogish, Janal Pande the wait is over.

The film now taken up for post production and marketing by HM Krishnamurthy and Swasthik Muniraju has solved the problems of director Shanthakumar.

As a professional in a software Company my mind deviate when I accept a girl. But that is not an easy task. The film has no relevance to the earlier days ‘Devadas’ made in Indian languages says Yogish. For the first time my performance demanded consuming alcohol. The film is shot in Goa, Chickmagalur and some sets in Bangalore he mentioned.

Senior production manager of 25 years stint ABCD Shanthakumar says ‘Devadas’ was ready one year ago but the post production of it was stalled. Now the dubbing, rerecording, special effects have been completed and in a short time the first copy would come. To explain the satisfaction of the film ‘Devadas’ has given so far the media briefing was arranged on Monday afternoon.

Shanthakumar prepared this script five years and rehashed a bit after watching the ‘Ambari’ of Yogish. Do not cheat the pure love says the film ‘Devadas’ and it has no connection to previous ‘Devadas’ made in other languages.

The highlight of this film music is that after showing the film to lyricist Dr Nagendra Prasad and music director Joshua Sridhar the songs were prepared. One of the songs from old Kannada film ‘Mangalya Sakshi’ Sarayi Seesheyali….is used in this film giving due credit to the original writer and composer.
